Let me take you on a little journey down memory lane to my love affair with photography which was first sparked at the tender age of 13. Trust me when I say my skills were far from where they are today... well, let's say they were a work in progress. They still are. But hey, isn't that the beauty of a craft? We're always learning and growing. But the greatest accomplishment is seeing your work out in the wild!
Now fast forward to one of the most exciting shoots I've had the pleasure of photographing. Diving into the world of movement and flash duration, we pushed the boundaries like no other.
Imagine my joy when I stumbled upon my photos doing exactly what they were meant to do—capturing hearts and turning heads. Juliet's modelling agency picked up my work and added it to her book and on their website. Cue the squeals of excitement! I mean, I even took screenshots to immortalize the moment. Can you blame me? It's not every day your work gets spotlighted like this!
As I sit here reflecting on this milestone, I can't help but think back to all those moments of doubt, countless hours of learning, and occasional bouts of self-criticism. But you know what? I wouldn't change a single thing. Every stumble, setback and criticism led to this moment.
