Nestled within the heart of creativity, Focal Studio became the canvas for a vibrant Moroccan-inspired photoshoot. As the photographer behind the lens, I embarked on a journey to blend the rich hues, intricate patterns, and timeless elegance of Moroccan culture into a captivating visual story. From conceptualization to execution, every detail was meticulously crafted to transport viewers into another realm. I wanted something fantastical and rich, gold, crowns and intricate jewellery appealed to me the most.
The original inspiration was a music cover showing the rich hues and oriental furniture. I had to jump on a concept right away. Focal Studio's rich blue hues were a definite must. Luckily I stumbled upon them on Instagram. They are a fairly new studio.
Collaboration was at the heart of this project, with each member of the team contributing their unique talents to the creative process. Rhythm worked tirelessly to capture the essence of Moroccan beauty, adorning our model with intricate designs and sultry eye makeup. Meanwhile, our Tunjot brought the vision to life, embodying the grace and allure of a modern-day Moroccan princess.
As the photographer, my role was to capture the essence of the moment, to freeze time and immortalize the beauty unfolding before me. Guided by intuition and a deep appreciation for the subject matter, I sought to capture the soul of Morocco in each frame. From intimate close-ups to sweeping panoramas, every photograph told a story, weaving together the threads of tradition, culture, and beauty.
As the final shutter clicked, I couldn't help but feel satisfaction in capturing this concept. As the images from this shoot came alive, I knew they would serve as a moment in time capturing the allure of Moroccan culture. If I had more outlets, I would have set up more lights and played around with more colour gels for a different appeal!
