Locations are one of the most important elements of a great photo. Chinguacousy Park is always a go-to. But oftentimes it has a negative image. I did include one area of Chinguacousy Park in my list. But there are a few other places in Brampton you can check out for engagement photography.
1) Gage Park
Permit Required: no. But to reserve the gazebo there is a rental permit needed.
Gage Park is a beautiful place to get engagement photography done. The gazebo is probably the most iconic spot a few steps away from Alderlea. There is the iconic bell at gage park which makes for unique photos.

2) Alderlea
Permit required: Yes. There are different rates for indoors vs outdoors
Alderlea is Brampton's historic 19th-century mansion. It hosts wedding, social gatherings and corporate events. The interior is iconic with its Italianate architecture. For rates, please visit their rental rates page.

3) The Chinguacousy Park Greenhouse.
Permit required: Yes and no.
The park is free to shoot around. But if you want something a little more, the greenhouse is a must. It's a beautiful location with gorgeous greenery. When shot at the right time and with the right outfits, it can make for some beautiful locations. If you are setting up equipment or have a huge group, then a photography permit is needed. A permit can be purchased at the Curling Club. Don't know what to wear? I've recently launched a style guide to help you choose perfect outfits. We'll work together to make those photos special to you and your partner-to-be.
4) Downtown Brampton
Permit required: no.
Downtown Brampton has many locations from Vivian Lane to the iconic graffiti wall. It's a quaint spot that gives you that urban but, rustic look to your photos.
5) PAMA (Peel Art Gallery Museum + Archives)
Permit required: Yes for inside the art gallery.
If you are a lover of architecture, then PAMA is for you. PAMA definitely has that rustic vibe with beautiful greenery. The front of the building has beautiful staircases and vintage front doors that make for perfect photos.
